FAQ
What is a booklet PDF?+
It is a print-ready PDF with two original pages on each side of an A4 sheet, ordered so the document reads correctly after you print double-sided and fold the sheets in the middle.
Why are blank pages added?+
Booklet printing needs a page count that is a multiple of 4 (front and back, two pages per side). If your file has 6 pages, two blank pages are added at the end so the last sheet still folds cleanly.
What printer setting should I use?+
Use A4 paper, double-sided printing, scale to fit the page, then fold each sheet down the middle and stack the sheets in the same order as the file.
Should I flip on short edge or long edge?+
Flip on the short edge. The output pages are landscape spreads; a long-edge flip would put the back sides upside down after folding.
Can I use this for school worksheets and exam papers?+
Yes. Short PDFs such as class worksheets, tests, and study notes are a good fit. Upload the original file and print the booklet version at home or in a school office.
Can I process several PDFs at once?+
Yes. Upload up to 10 PDFs in one go. Each file is arranged as its own booklet. Download them one at a time, or use Download all.
Are my files stored?+
No. Files are processed temporarily and automatically deleted after use. EpicTechie does not keep uploads for training or later reuse.
